In this digital age, technological advancements are reshaping the very fabric and tradition of democracy. Our theme dove deep into how technology is transforming democratic processes and governance methods, from the rise of social media to the increased use of digital voting systems.
Democracy 2.0 isn’t just about acknowledging these changes; it’s also about understanding their implications.
Together with our partners, we explored how innovation had enhanced democratic participation, promote transparency, and empower the rights of citizens.
With these advancements, however, there are also challenges, from safeguarding individual privacy to addressing concerns about misinformation and digital divides.

Tech Day was ignited with an exciting start!
Students had the chance to join the Tech Day Fair, a two hour open fair for connections with key leaders and partners from Denmark’s top players in Tech Management. Students also had access to a free course and certification in data governance from our previous partner, Copenhagen Data!
Leaders from PWC, Copenhagen Data, Datatilsynet, The French Government, and BCG spoke at our “Data Privacy and Surveillance” panel to explore global data privacy regulations, navigating international challenges, and the balance between data insights and user privacy.
We had explored the intricate relationship between technology and democratic governance at our “Democracy & Decentralization” panel featuring experts from Deloitte, Lunar, Samar Law, Dansk Erhverv and other industry leaders. We discussed how blockchain, AI, and digital platforms reshape democracy, and had discussed the common methods used to combat misinformation and centralized models in politics.
Anders Dons from Deloitte had delivered a fantastic keynote on “Our Future Relationship with Technology.“
He explored the opportunities and challenges presented by current technological advancements and discussed the paths we might take in our digital future.
